Mandated CORI and SORI

All those participating as staff at camp are subject to background checks pursuant to regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (M.G.L. c. 6 §172G). The purpose of these checks is to ensure there is nothing that would render an individual unfit to perform services involving contact and/or access to campers.

Upon submission of this registration, Penikese will provide your name and email to our agent who will contact you directly to proceed with the two required checks:

• Crimimal Offender Record Information (CORI) 

• Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI)

Our agent is a highly secure national service in compliance with federal and regional regulations and privacy standards. You will be asked to provide your Social Security Number, date of birth, addresses history, and other relevant information. You, the employee candidate, will receive identical reports to those that are sent to Penikese as your prospective employer.
