Service Description

Step aboard for a scenic one-hour boat ride from Woods Hole to Penikese Island, a remote wildlife sanctuary at the mouth of Buzzards Bay. Explore the island’s diverse ecosystems, rich history, and rugged beauty on a guided tour featuring 1-2 miles of walking trails through unspoiled coastal landscapes. Trip Details: 🔹 Skill Level: Open to all nature enthusiasts! 🔹 Group Size: Maximum of 12 participants; first-come, first-served. 🔹 Meeting Point: Penikese Shore Office, 565 Woods Hole Road, Woods Hole, MA. 🔹 What to Bring: - Picnic lunch, snacks, and plenty of water - Sturdy walking shoes for uneven terrain - Weather-appropriate layers (it’s often cooler offshore) - Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (limited shade on the island) A minimum of 8 participants is required for the trip to proceed. You’ll receive an email confirming your reservation or notifying you if you're on the waitlist.
